Yolanda O’Neal, MBA founded O’Neal Consulting in 2004 after 15 years in the financial services industry helping corporate and non-profit clients grow and prosper. She created O’Neal consulting out of a desire to meld her own entrepreneurial fire with her extensive experience, education and financial acumen to benefit those that have the most to lose – their own passion-born businesses.
Numerous clients have benefited from Yolanda’s expertise in the many areas of financial management including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and expense control. But Yolanda goes far beyond just getting the numbers right. She has also gained a reputation for committing unreservedly, thinking strategically, building constructive relationships both with and for her clients, and teaching her clients how to make the most of the tools and technology available to them. Simply put, she bends over backwards to help people make their passions profitable.
Yolanda’s Education and Early Career:
Yolanda earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois, and her Master of Business Administration from Loyola University with a concentration in management and accounting.
From 1998 through 2004, Yolanda managed assets for The Northern Trust Company. Prior to Joining Northern Trust, Yolanda was a Financial Manager at the Bank of New York and an Accountant at American National Bank and Trust.
Yolanda is a member of American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers an authorized IRS e-file provider, and a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor.
